We are the parents of an amazing little boy who was previously diagnosed with infantile autism. He has recently lost his diagnosis by the grace of the God and as a result of the biomedical interventions we have incorporated!! We feel it is imperative to pass on this information as well as offer the opportunities that we have had to recover our son!!
When we initially got our diagnosis and heard the word "autism", we were devastated like many of you. My first "Google" search that same night was "how to reverse autism". Several websites spoke of the gluten free and dairy free diet being helpful, so the very next day, we removed all gluten and dairy from his diet "cold turkey". In a mere 28 days, our son started talking!! So I am a huge cheerleader for "the GF/CF diet" as well as removing any other known food allergens and sensitivities.
Every child is quite unique with their own set of issues just as we adults are. There are a wide variety of environmental dilemmas and insults that influence the physiology and function of their little bodies and brains. We personally chose a very holistic route to recover our son, but I do not judge those that choose to do a combination of natural as well as pharmaceutical agents. We also got amazing results with the mild pressure Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. We chose to use the Viateris 320 by Oxy Health and have done over 300 sessions to date. We also found Lyme's Disease with my son as well as Mycoplasma infection, so the comprehensive anti-fungal/anti-viral program really brought us big improvements.
We believe the synergistic effect of an organic gluten free dairy free soy free (etc) diet, nutritional supplementation (for treating infection, enhancing cellular energy and repair, stimulating neurogenesis, improving digestion, healing damaged tissues, etc), natural detoxification of the brain and body with Cilantro, Chlorella, and Natural Cellular Defense (zeoliites by Waiora) as well as a year and a half of intense Speech therapy, occupational therapy, and Applied Behavioral Analysis together resulted in the son we have today.
Our son is now 6 years old, a VERY talkative, fully mainstreamed boy with close friends. He was allowed to skip a grade due to his knowledge base and is a very talented basketball player as well. He loves his little 4 year old sister dearly, and he reads to her often. I totally thank and praise God daily for the healing HE has allowed to take place. It is my opinion and experience that recovery is totally possible!
